Testimonials
What people say about our community based efforts.
“Our earlier efforts to protect the Seti River failed because each municipality worked alone. Now, with support from USAID Biodiversity (Jal-Jangal) support and SDC Nepal's facilitations have united us to protect our rivers and restore aquatic life”

Student, Saipal Rural Municipality
“After a two-day SDC Nepal’s training on climate change, I realized rainfall patterns, drought, and pests affect our crops. Earlier, I blamed poor seeds, but now I know climate change greatly influences harvests.”

Farmer from Thalara Rural Municipality
“Through SDC Nepal’s training, we learned sustainable farming and the value of local seeds. Now I will grow local crops using home-based pest and drought protection. This learning gave me hope to preserve traditional farming with new knowledge.”

Student, Bajhang
“In our school, we study agriculture but rarely learn about climate change. The training taught me how farming connects to climate change and how to adapt using weather data and improved techniques to help my community.”

Beneficiary
“No one imagined we would have drinking water at our doorstep. We used to walk for half an hour to fetch water from the water springs. Now, having clean water nearby feels like a dream come true.”
